How it all began

Dave and Stephanie Shaw started 'BIKERS' NITE'TM in August 2002.  The first event was a Rock night held at the Midland Pub, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.  The evening was such a success that more Rock nights were held the following year at the Tythe Barn, Bishop's Cleeve, Cheltenham.

In 2004 the mid-week bike meets started.  The first meet was at the Farmers Arms, Lower Apperley, Tewkesbury, about 45 Bikers turned up on a sunny evening.  The following week only 25 bikes came to the meet at the Royal Oak, Andoversford, Cheltenham.  The next meet however, attracted over 100 Bikers at the Lowerlode Inn, Tewkesbury.

Since then 'BIKERS' NITE'TM has gone from strength to strength and it is not unusual to see over 1,000 bikes at any one event.

Besides many motorcycle enthusiasts meeting up once a week during the fine weather to enjoy all the benefits these gatherings bring, they are also supporting the pubs in and around the Cotswolds who welcome their custom and help raise funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity by holding raffles and collecting donations during these bike meets.

So far 'BIKERS' NITE'TM has raised  £147,304.00

for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity since 2002.

The equivalent to 54 Air Ambulance missions over the years.
